FEES

Fees are currently set lower than is common. This is to help grow the City practice. 


 First session (allow 1.25 hrs)
Please note my guarantee (below).		 $45

Following sessions (50/60 min.) $45

Two people e.g. couple, parent+child $70

Home/Office Visit. Travel time (to you)
per hour. $20 minimum.		 $45

Allow 1 hour for most appointments as the 50 min session time doesn't include settling in, payment etc.

To keep rates to a minimum, I do not have current arrangements to accept credit cards or EFTPOS.

For sessions at home or the office it is important to allow quiet, uninterrupted time and arrange for 2 facing chairs.

MY GUARANTEE

As a counsellor I know that I can help most people who come to see me, with a wide range of issues. However, the single most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. You cannot know whether you will have that necessary confidence and trust until we meet. If you end your first session feeling that you haven’t been helped at all and knowing you do not wish to return for another session, then let me know and I will gladly waive the initial session fee in full, without qualification.

MEDICARE AND INSURANCE

Psychotherapists and counsellors are not covered by Medicare. [This may not be an issue, my current fee is less than the Medicare gap fee levied by many psychologists/psychiatrists]. You may get some rebate of fees from your private health insurance fund; the best course of action is to check with them.
